Like no other course in the world, the 18 hole PGA Championship course at Tobago Plantations has been designed to work with it’s stunning Caribbean backdrop. This British designed course takes you around mangroves and mature palm trees, to coastline holes offering views of Tobago’s capital in one direction and the Atlantic Ocean in the other. Wetlands and lakes are being nutured around the course to encourage wildlife to add to the unique golfing experience at Plantations.

The Golf and Country Club is run by the efficient and highly experienced Chris Patey and his team. They offer more or less anything you want from golf - whether you’re after a tailor-made teaching package, a beginner intent on learning the basic fundamentals, or an advanced low handicap player wanting to get on and enjoy a game.

On site tuition is available, from short lessons to full individual and group coaching programmes. Golf School Weekends and Junior Academy Days are also on offer. State of the art video analysis is on hand, top grade balls are in use on the Driving Range, alongside is a large putting green, practice bunkers and testing lies for keen golfers to sharpen their game with practice bunker and short game shots.  There’s a fully stocked Golf Shop offering a wide selection of the latest equipment, fashion apparel and golf accessories. Rental and trial clubs are also available. If you’re golf mad and your partner prefers to top up their tan by the pool while you go round the course, the Tobago Hilton’s beach bar, infinity pool and sun loungers are only yards away.

Mount Irvine Bay Hotel and Golf Club enjoys one of the prettiest aspects in Tobago, and the area is much sought after for property hunters.  The 127 acre golf course overlooks the Caribbean Sea, with the hotel behind it enjoying spectacular views of Buccoo Reef.   This is an 18 hole, Par-72 International Championship Course, 6793 yards long. It’s built on land which rises in natural terraces from the sea. Greens and wide open fairways, views of the Caribbean between bamboo and palm trees, make a round of golf in this setting and unforgettable experience.  This golf course is also situated next to a quality hotel - The Mount Irvine Bay Hotel - with pool, beach bar and a gorgeous little beach nearby.
